Captain Robert Holmes, the Ruby at the Nore to Sir Edward Gregory, Commissioner, Chatham. He has taken in stores for the Newcastle, but can find no merchantmen bound for Barbados. Sheerness cannot supply a longboat fitting for him and requests a new one from Deptford or his old one which he spared to the Russell.
