Folio 123: Whitworth to Harley. Polish court feel they will be in no danger during the winter, despite the march of the Swedes and their agreement with the Emperor. Czar leaves Warsaw for Lithuania. Russian military plans. Czar causes the Diet at Lublin to be brought to a close without an election despite the forcefulness of the deputies of Prince Ragotski [R kóczy]. Deputation including Berezeni to engage the Czar and the Republic of Poland in an alliance. Increasingly unlikely that France and the Palatine of Beltz can make good their promises to the Czar. Progress of the fortification of Moscow. Dated 24 Sept/5 Oct 1707.
