Russian military movements and plans. Settlement of the dispute between Menschikoff and the Prussian envoy. Progress of the fortification of Moscow. Publication of a proclamation requiring an exact account of all Swedish prisoners, and the numbers rebaptised into the Russian faith. Carrying off of families by the Tartars in their invasion of Livonia and Ingria. Speculation that the Survey on Swedish prisoners may be a preliminary to a treaty of peace. Serious fires in Moscow.
