Description

Short title: Davies v Lloyd.

Plaintiff(s): David Davies.

Defendant(s): William Lloyd, John Davies.

Subject of depositions: Last will and testament of David John ap Robert Lewis alias David John (plaintiff's grandfather), and his lands in Wickwar (Denbighshire), called "y werne ucha", "Kay tan y tyr Coytkae", "Brwyn" and "y berrlan" etc. Particularly touching a clause in the will, wherein David John (plaintiff's grandfather) gave and devised the sum of £80 to be equally divided by his son John Davies (the defendant) between his five children before John Davies "was to enjoy the premises" etc.

County/place: Denbighshire.

Date of commission: 15 June 1687.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 6 August 1687 at Wickwar.
