Description

Short title: Legh v Daniel.

Plaintiff(s): William Legh, of West Houghton.

Defendant(s): John Daniel.

Subject of depositions: Lands called "ye Marled Hey ", "the Windmill Field" and "the Lower Pastures." Touching money alleged by plaintiff to be owing to him out of the estate of John Daniel (defendant's late father, and plaintiff's late father-in-law), on account of the balance of plaintiffs' wife's portion still left unpaid to him.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1686.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 April 1686 at Newton.
