Description

Short title: Attorney General v Waller.

Plaintiff(s): Sir William Jones, kt, Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Sir William Waller, Gerard Roberts, Thomas Yoakely, William Willett, John Warren, Arthur Hart, George Hart, Edmund Williams, John Mosely, John Washbrough.

Subject of depositions: Port and city of Bristol. Touching the 'manner of taking or paying prizage wines, or compounding or agreeing for the same with in the said port or citty,' etc. etc. Touching a lease of the duty of prisage taken of Sir William Waller, farmer of prisage (the defendant), of wines imported into the port, etc.

County/place: Bristol.

Date of commission: 19 June 1678.
