Description

Short title: Simpson v Tucker.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Simpson, clerk.

Defendant(s): William Tucker, John Turner, Robert Turner, Richard Lea, William Thomas, Thomas Wislade.

Subject of depositions: Vicarage of Colyton, and of Shute and Monkton thereto appendant, the parish of Colyton and the tythings of Mynchinholme, Farre, and Woodland in that parish. Also touching the custom of tything in Devon generally. Tithes.

County/place: Devon.

Date of commission: 19 June 1678.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 7 October 1678 at Colyton.
