Description

Short title: Slingsby v Hatfield.

Plaintiff(s): Dorothy Slingsby, spinster.

Defendant(s): John Hatfield, John Bradbourne, Mark Vanvalkenburgh, George Clark, Francis Rooke, John Moore, William Woodcock, William Tomkinson, Thomas Canby, Benjamn Canby.

Subject of depositions: Honor of Tickhill, the manor of Hatfield, and the level of Hatfield Chase (Nottinghamshite and Lincolnshire). The draining, of the level of Hatfield Chase by Sir Cornelius Vermuyden, "and others, participants, "adventurers "; and their agreement with Charles 1 Particularly touching a pasture and marsh ground called Dyke Marsh, reputed parcel of the duchy of Lancaster, lying in the townships of Rawcliffe, Cowick, and Snaith.
