Description

Short title: Sandwith v Weddell.

Plaintiff(s): Phos. Sandwith.

Defendant(s): William Weddell, John Lazenby, Seath Lazenby.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a tenement and two oxgangs of land and other lands in the town of Huntington (near the city of York), and the Townfields adjoining; whether parcel of the ancient inheritance of the Rokebys and Tylburnes? whether parcel of the late monastery of St Nicholas in or near such city, appropriate or annexed to the late dissolved priory of the Holy Trinity in the city? Metes and bounds of tenement and lands. Whether a yearly rent of 7s. has been paid to the receiver-general of Yorkshire for tenement, etc. [The names of Thomas Foster, Francis Townley, Seth Holmes, Robert Weddell, Phillip Padmore, James Corker, Elizh. Skinner, widow, and Mr Scudamore, receiver-general, are mentioned.] Also touching a former suit concerning the premises.
