Description

Short title: Marrow v Phillips.

Plaintiff(s): Samuel Marrow.

Defendant(s): Ambrose Phillips, son of William Phillips.

Subject of depositions: Chief rents payable for lands in the lordship of Birmingham (Warwickshire). Thomas Smallbroke, bailiff of the "forren" of Birmingham. [A survey made by one Combes and others (surveyors of the late Duke of Northumberland), of the manor of Birmingham, John Elliot, John Vesie, "Woodhouse Land" in the manor, and Robert Phillips (defendant's eldest brother), are mentioned].

County/place: Warwickshire.

Date of commission: 7 November 1595.
