Acknowledge receipt of their Lordships order of yesterdays date empowering him to impress Apprentices, Fishermen etc. Requests to know whether as many of the Merchants Apprentices of this place are protected as Mates & Boatswains. He is authorised to impress them as also Mates & Boatswains of ships above Fifty Tons.
