Folios 295-296: Joseph Short, [Regulating Officer], Lynn [Kings Lynn]. reports that he has received a letter from a Merchant at Spalding requesting he would send and Impress the Master and Mate of one of his Barges who had been smuggling some of his corn. he is also informed that there is a deserter from the Navy. Requests their approbation to send Lieutenant William Dalton with a sufficient team to Impress & apprehend them.
