Folios 219-220: Charles Robinson, Meon Stoke, Droxford, Hampshire. Asks whether he is eligible to be an out-pensioner at Greenwich, having served extensively as a Lieutenant during the American war under Admirals Lord Rodney and Hood [Lord Bridport], later at the Battle of Cape St Vincent, the capture of [Languara?]and action off the Chesapeake under Rear Admiral Thomas Graves. He was promised promotion during Lord Howe's time, and was Commander of HMS Scout at the surrender of Toulon. When the Scout was captured by French frigates he was exonerated by his court martial and recommended for a fresh command by Rear Admiral Sir Roger Curtis.
