Folios 102-103: Wilson Rathbone, HMS Santa Margarita, Quiberon Bay. As directed he has asked Mr Thompson, the Master, whether he is able to give evidence to a court martial concerning acts of cruelty allegedly committed by Captain Edward Hawkins and others aboard HMS Dispatch which lead to the death of William Davy, and to ask the Master for a list of anyone else qualified to testify before the court martial. Mr Thompson says he is able to give evidence, encloses a list of other officers and men who can testify to the facts.
