First party: Thomas, son of Ralph son of Simon.
Second party: Ranulf, earl of Chester [Ranulf de Blundeville].
Place or subject: All Thomas's right and claim which Ralph son of Simon, Thomas's father, Thomas himself had from the fee of the earl of Chester in Edelinton [Edlington], both within the vill and outside, with all appurtenances, without any reservation. For this quitclaim the earl gave to Thomas twenty-four marks and one robe.
