First party: Maud, daughter of Thorold de Wellet' [Welton].
Second party: Henry, son of Adam de Witchcal [Withcall], chaplain.
Place or subject: One cultivated field of arable land in the territory of Wellet' [Welton] with appurtenances, lying at Dikesende between the land of Osbert Syrreve and the land of Hugh Bonde, and it abuts upon the way which extends towards Widchale [Withcall]. To hold freely and quietly in pure and perpetual alms, paying yearly at the feast of St Botolph one penny's worth of wax at the altar of St Mary in the church of St Andrew of Wellet' [Welton], for the salvation of Maud's soul.
