Captured ship: San Francisco or St Francis of San Sebastian (master Cosme de Lue).
History: a Spanish ship (30 tons), bound from San Sebastian to Portsmouth, laden with wine and cork; around 22 June 1696 the ship met with a small English vessel (master Joliffe) which escorted them into Poole to hide from enemy ships, where the vessel was presumably seized and eventually brought into Portsmouth.
