Description

Captured ship: Angel Raphael of Longsound [Langesund, Norway] master Niels Jensen).

History: a Danish merchant ship (86 lasts), bound from Langesund to St Martin, laden with deals, whetstones, and flour; taken on 30 June / 10 July 1694, in the English Channel by HMS Elizabeth (Robert Wilmot commanding), and brought into the Downs.
