Captured ship: Adventure of London (master John Turbet, a Scotsman).

History: a Scottish ship (200 tons, previously the Wildman, a Dutch ship bought in March 1689 at La Rochelle by Robert Mackarell, a Scotsman), bound from La Rochelle to Dunkirk or Hamburg, laden with brandy and salt on freight: taken in May 1689, by HMS Mary Galley (Daniel Deering commanding), and brought into Dover on 4 June 1689.
