Printed prize appeal from the Vice-Admiralty Court of St Kitts.
Captured ship: Union (master Ebenezer Delano).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from Pointe-a-Pitre Guadeloupe to Boston, laden with sugar, coffee and cotton; taken on 17 February 1798 by HMS Lapwing (Thomas Harvey commanding), and brought into St Kitts.
Appellant: The master on behalf of William Jackson and James Harrison merchants of Boston.
Respondent: The captor and HMPG.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 15 July 1801 (folios 78-87).
Decision: further proof required.
