Captured ship: Lucy (master Elias Grant).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from Guadeloupe to Boston, laden with sugar, coffee and rum; taken on 13 December 1794 by the privateer Favorite (William Bradley commanding), and brought into St Kitts.
Appellant: Samuel Bayard the American Agent on behalf of Daniel Merry.
Respondent: The captor.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 17 May 1800 (folios 63-66).
Decision: cargo to be restored.
