Captured ship: Abraham's Sacrifice of Hamburg, master George Van Lubken.
History: bound from Bordeaux to Hamburg, laden with high country wine, in company with the ship Hagedorne, hoping that Hamburg was then open; and looking to wait until the frost was spent, intended to come into Cowes, but was taken off Portland in January 1665 by HMS Colchester (Hellen commanding) and brought into Portsmouth.
