History: bound from Bordeaux to Hamburg, laden with wine, brandy and prunes, leaving on 27 January 1665 despite Hamburg being frozen, because it rained so much that they hoped the frost would be broken up, but intending to take refuge in Cowes if necessary; taken off the Isle of Wight on 30 January by HMS Resolution (Sir William Berkeley commanding) and brought into Portsmouth.
