Description

Captured ship: St Vincent of Brest (master Vincent Legall or Legal or Galle).

History: a French ship (35 tons, 3 men), bound from Bordeaux to Brest, laden with wine; taken on 10/21 January 1745 off Ushant by the privateerWilling Mind (Thomas Snow commanding), and brought into Jersey.

  • [CP 2]: allegation;
  • [CP 3]: abstracts and translations of the 12 ship's papers.

Ship’s Papers numbered SP 1-SP 12, bills of lading, ship's pass, muster roll.
