Captured ship: Three Brothers formerly Leo (master Thomas Forsey).
Capture history: an American merchant ship (brigantine, 70 tons, 16 men) bound from Hispaniola to Boston, Massachusetts Bay, laden with sugar, molasses and cotton; taken on 1 October 1779 in latitude 37°6'N, longitude 72°W by the loyalist privateer the Revenge (Robert Bland commanding), and brought into New York.
Intended voyage: from the Caribbean Islands to the United States.
