Capture history: an American merchant ship (schooner, 30 tons) bound from Great Choptank to Baltimore, Maryland, laden with flour and Indian corn; taken on 17 March 1783 near the mouth of the Great Choptank River in the Chesapeake Bay by the loyalist privateer Kidnapper (John Kid commanding, and brought into New York.
