Captured ship: Rotterdam Pacquet formerly Anna (master Christiaan Cornelisz).
History: a Dutch merchant ship (brig, 100 tons, 2 swivel guns, 9 men), bound from Marseilles to Rotterdam, laden with wine, fruit; taken on 26 December 1780 off the Lizard by HMS Daphne (John Augustus Hervey, Lord Hervey, commanding), in sight of HMS Hero (James Hawker commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
Court papers: 1-58; Ship's papers: 59-81. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
