Captured ship: Little Porga of Newbury (commander William Armstrong).
Capture history: an American merchant ship with commission (112 tons, 8 guns, 31 men) bound from Newburyport, Massachusetts to Bordeaux, laden with tobacco, sugar and cotton; taken on 3 November 1781 in latitude 39°10'N, longitude 41°20'W by the privateer Guernsey (Edward Conyers commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
Intended voyage: from the United States to France.
