Folios 437-438: James Nash, HMS Saint George, [Hamaze]. Covering letter for the enclosed letter he received today from Mr William Tickell of HMS Saint George which he forwards. [He states] that what he [the Purser] has stated is correct.
Folio 439: enclosure with folios 437-438. Letter dated 17 June 1815 by William Tickell, HMS Saint George, to James Nash, HMS Saint George. Dated 17 June 1815. States that when he was appointed Purser of HMS Saint George in November 1810, he came under Bond with the Commissioners for Victualling in the sum of £1200 for a First Rate and was paid his wages for such, similar to the other Warrant Officers which were on board the said ship when named HMS Britannia, as he is not aware of her being reduced, he repeats his application for necessary money for a nominal complement in like manner as the Purser of HMS Salvador del Mundo.
