Folios 65-66: William Mather, HMS Rapid, Spithead. Confirms arrived at Spithead that afternoon from St Johns New Brunswick. As there were no vessels at St Johns on 15 June bound for the Leeward Islands judged it his duty to return to Spithead. Encloses Log of proceedings (not with letter and Defects, State and Condition of the ship.
Folio 67: enclosure with folios 65-66. Defects of HMS Rapid dated 13 July 1810 signed by Captain William Mather and James Downing, Carpenter.
