Folio 167: Frederick Langford, HMS Fury, the Nore. Advises that Stephen Atkinson, Carpenter, the Good Intent who was impressed by HMS Fury, produced no satisfactory documentation to support his position.
Folios 168-169: enclosed with folio 167. Petition dated 20 June 1803 by John Crosby, Master and Owner the Good Intent to the Admiralty. Advises that Stephen Atkinson, Carpenter , the Good Intent, was impressed. Asks for his discharge.
Folio 170: enclosed with folio 167. Affidavit dated 20 June 1803 by John Crosby, Part owner, the Good Intent of Shadwell, Middlesex given at Mansion House, London. Certifies he came before Charles Price, Lord Mayor of the City of London and gave an oath that Stephen Atkinson was impressed and sent on board HMS Fury, Captain Langford, and at the time was Carpenter of the Good Intent. Confirms that Stephen Atkinson was furnished with an affidavit sworn before [?eator of ?octsam].
