Description

Folios 429-430: David Lloyd, HMS Termagant, the Nore. Reports his arrival with the convoy from Aberdeen and Leith on their way to London, having sailed from Leith on 2 October. Off Flamborough Head the Master of a Revenue Cutter passed along news of a Dutch frigate which had taken three merchantman in Filey Bay the previous day and was able to give a detailed description of her. He has passed this intelligence to Admiral Adam Duncan. Encloses [not present] a convoy list.
