Reply to letter dated 7 May 1814 in answer to his and the 2nd informing him that his agent ought not to have paid the sum of £59-14s-11d while he was absent on the Public service. [Letter No 2] - Richard Hawkins, HMS Minerva, Hamoaze. Dated 19 February 1811 Reply to your letter dated 16 February 1811 respecting John Hearsay. He informs that he was impressed on board HMS Minerva on 16 September 1808. [Letter No 3] - Richard Hawkins, HMS Minerva, Spithead. Dated 4 May 1811. Finding an action at Law has been commenced against him for impressing John Hearsay. Request you direct your Solicitors to Defend the Action. [Folio 295] - [Summary of the situation].
