Folios 470-471: Joshua Sydney Horton, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Notes that Lieutenant Archibald, Commander of the hired tender Elizabeth, under Captain Horton's orders, has reported that Mr Hamilton, Master and Owner of the vessel, has applied to withdraw it from His Majesty's Service. The withdrawal would cause serious inconvenience. He has only recently applied for a third tender to transport the men raised in Liverpool to Plymouth. He has been authorized to engage another in Liverpool, but has been unsuccessful due to the increased price of tonnage.
