Folios 96-97: John Martin Hanchett, HMS Raven, Plymouth. He reports that Admiral de Courcy has told him that his nephew Lieutenant Almericus de Courcy is seriously ill and living in Ireland and will be unable to join HMS Raven. He asks that Lieutenant John Foreman, presently on HMS Dreadnought, be appointed in his place. He also asks that one of his junior Lieutenants Henry Read be promoted to first lieutenant.
