Description

Folios 71-72: Graham Eden Hamond, HMS Victorious, Downs. He reports that when sailing off Goree, nine Dutch soldiers deserted and came on board HMS Victorious. Five of them have volunteered to serve on board HMS Victorious but the others wish to join the Kings German Legion. Apparently, one of them formerly belonged to that regiment but was taken prisoner of war coming home from Copehagen. He aks for instructions.
