Folios 537-538: Philip Hue, HMS Actaeon, Liverpool. Responding to Admiralty query of 11 October, says he has examined the three men: James Colbert was born at Norfolk but Hue believes from his appearance that he is an American, and he has only the two documents enclosed [not now present]; William Cox was sent to sick quarters from the Actaeon, on 22 July; David Ford was forwarded to the Fleet by HMS Renard on 25 July.
