Folio 296: Wilson Braddyl Bigland, HMS Jaspar, Gibraltar Bay. Encloses a duplicate of his appointment from Rear Admiral Charles Fleeming replacing Captain Henry Jenkinson and hopes he wiull be confirmed in hte command of HMS Jasper.
Folio 297: enclosure with folio 296. Orders, dated 8 July 1814, from Rear Admiral Charles Elphinstone Fleeming, on board HMS San Juan, Gibraltar Bay to Wilson Braddyl Bigland, Lieutenant, HMS San Juan. Orders appointing Wilson Braddyl Bigland to act as Commander of HMS Jasper, replacing Henry Jenksinson who has been invalided that day.
