Folios 295-296: Thomas Baker, HMS Cumberland, Frenchall, Madeira. Reports that he has forwarded the ship's Logs for the period 8 to 23 June 1814 and a list of the convoy under his command with the Sophia Cutter of London bound for Gothenburg. Advises that he sailed from Spithead on 8 June 1814 with 23 sail of convoy with 4 others joining at sea but the Countess Harcourt separated on 14 June 1814 although he cannot give any reason as to why. Advises that as several of the Indiamen have yet to ship large quantities of wine, there will be a delay leaving port.
