- Folio 197. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to William Powell, Clerk to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, regarding sale produce in Water Eaton hamlet. They acknowledge receipt of his letter of 22 September 1848 and refer him to their letter of 13 September 1847 on this subject. Annotated: an order should be issued to apply this purchase money towards the discharge of the work house debt. [William Golden Lumley, Assistant Secretary to the Poor Law Board]. [27 March 1849]. Issue the order. Paper Number: 26653/1848.
