Folio 203. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Reverend J L Lugger [Reverend John Lloyd Lugger, Rector] Tregony, referring to his letter of 23 August 1841. The Commission have written to [Thomas Dryden], the Auditor of the Truro Poor Law Union and enclose a copy of his reply [not included]. This shows that the Commission did not direct the auditor to disallow the repayment on the debt to Mr Ball [Nicholas Ball]. They refer to their letter of 29 July 1841 and enclose a copy of their letter to Dryden [not included] which explains their views on the matter.
