List of 12 prisoners on board hulk Discovery recommended for mercy:

  • [Stephen Parkhouse convicted at Bristol on 9 January 1826 for stealing silk out of a warehouse]
  • George Hart convicted Gloucester on 29 March 1826 for stealing an ass.
  • [William Mason convicted at Chester on 4 April 1826 for stealing hay]
  • [Roger Howarth convicted at York on 8 July 1826 for stealing wool]
  • John Nocher convicted at Edinburgh on 11 September 1826 for assault with intent to commit a rape.
  • [Thomas Stanger convicted at Newgate on 14 September 1826 for embezzlement]
  • [Thomas Cox convicted at Newgate on 14 September 1826 for stealing a watch]
  • John Johnson convicted at Newgate on 14 September 1826 for stealing a cask of white lead.
  • [John McMillan convicted at Edinburgh on 16 September 1826 for stealing in a dwelling house]
  • Jonathan Rose convicted at Grantham on 13 October 1826 for stealing locks.
  • John Sharpe convicted at Aylesbury [Bucks] on 17 October 1826 for stealing a trunk.
  • George Reynolds convicted at Gloucester on 17 October 1826 for housebreaking.
