List of 23 prisoners on board hulk Ganymede recommended for mercy:

  • Richard Bird convicted at Newcastle on 20 October 1824 for stealing a handkerchief.
  • James Bywater convicted at Middlesex on 17 February 1825 for felony.
  • Richard Humphreys crossed out because of poor behaviour.
  • Henry Austin convicted at Ilchester [Somerset] on 26 March 1825 for misdemeanour.
  • [William Monday convicted at Taunton [Somerset] on 26 March 1825 for stealing a watch]
  • James Smith convicted at Warwick on 29 March 1825 for felony.
  • [William Nicholls convicted at Warwick on 29 March 1825 for stealing from a person]
  • [John Homer convicted at Middlesex on 7 April 1825 for stealing a shirt]
  • Hugh McVie convicted at Dumfries on 25 April 1825 for housebreaking.
  • [John Green convicted at Surrey on 30 May 1825 for stealing lead]
  • Benjamin Chester convicted at Bristol on 11 July 1825 for stealing bottle stands.
  • William Byron convicted at Gloucester on 10 August 1825 for grand larceny.
