List of 13 convicts on board hulk Justitia recommended for mercy:

  • [William Armes convicted at Gloucester on 12 July 1825 for stealing a truss of cloth]
  • William Howson convicted at Middlesex on 8 December 1825 for stealing a copper
  • Edward Jones convicted at Middlesex on 8 December 1825 for stealing carpenters tools.
  • Colvin Fleming convicted at Bristol on 9 January 1826 for receiving stolen boots and shoes.
  • [John B Williams convicted at Bristol on 9 January 1826 for stealing 50 silk handkerchiefs]
  • [Thomas Thomas convicted at Bristol on 9 January 1826 for stealing a coat]
  • Thomas Dinsdale convicted at Middlesex on 15 January 1826 for stealing 3 live rabbits.
  • [Richard Turpin convicted at Middlesex on 15 January 1826 for stealing from the person]
  • Benjamin Bond convicted at Middlesex on 15 January 1826 for stealing 40 lbs. of lead.
  • William Morgan convicted at Gloucester on 29 March 1826 for stealing a great coat.
  • John Phelan convicted at Chester on 9 August 1826 for stealing from his master.
  • Joseph Dickenson convicted at Middlesex on 14 September 1826 for stealing linen from a washhouse.
  • George Knight convicted at Middlesex on 14 September for stealing printed cotton.
