1 individual petition (the prisoner) and 1 collective petition (4 friends since childhood) on behalf of John Norris, convicted at the Old Bailey in April 1834 for housebreaking against George Longman of 15 Bride Lane, Bridge Street [London]. Grounds for clemency: because of severe internal abscess the prisoner is unlikely to survive his sentence of imprisonment. Initial sentence: 18 months imprisonment in the House of Correction for the City of London. Annotated: nil. AV 48
