[This refers to a petition signed by every inhabitant of prisoner's village but it is not among the papers]. Grounds for clemency: good conduct while in prison, already served 4 months of sentence. Initial sentence: 6 months imprisonment in House of Correction at Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Annotated: free pardon. AV 41
