1 collective petition (inhabitants of Chodiham Cheshire) on behalf of John Lightfoot convicted at Chester Assizes [Chester Sessions] in April 1824 of larceny of fowls. Grounds for clemency: respectable parents, industrious, sober, honest and praiseworthy character. Gaoler's report: indifferent character. Initial sentence: transportation for 7 years. Annotated: to remain in hulks if he behaves well 16 August 1824. MK25
