Letter from the visiting magistrates enclosing surgeon's report on Ann Price, convicted at Autumn Great Sessions held at Presteigne in 1823 of sheep stealing. Grounds for clemency: ill health and good conduct. Initial sentence: death commuted to 7 years transportation. Annotated: 'she seems to have been afflicted with the same complaint long before she committed this felony.' MK26
