1 individual petition (the prosecutor, Joseph Russell) on behalf of Charles West and James Sheen convicted at the Old Bailey in July 1824 of house breaking at 25 George Street, Sloane Square, Chelsea. Grounds for clemency: no aggravation or violence. One of the prisoners had an aged mother. Hungry so stole bacon. Initial sentence: death. Annotated: considered at the Report in Council 14 August 1824. MK24
