1 collective petition (parents of the prisoner, with a letter from the prisoner attached to the petition) on behalf of Henry Bradley convicted at the Gloucester City and County Assizes in March 1820 of house breaking. Grounds for clemency: asks for mitigation of sentence so prisoner can work for himself and earn some money to buy clothes. Can provide testimonials as to his good conduct. Initial sentence: death commuted to transportation for life. Annotated:' Nil.' MK1
